Patent Reexamination Board under the State Intellectual Property Office of China recently, with respect to our client's invention patent invalidation case represented by our firm, issued the decision which is mainly in favor of our client, declaring main claims of Invention Patent No. 200410046807.5 invalid and a part of one claim valid. Thus our client mostly won this case, the main claims successfully being invalidated.

We represented a client in this invalidation case. In this invalidation case, through detailed grounds in paper and arguments in hearing, we represented our client to provide persuasive arguments, strong evidence and technical statements. The Panel of the Board upon examination determined to declare claims 1, 2 and 4 and the technical scheme related to "Calcium Gluconate" in claim 3 of Invention Patent No. 200410046807.5 invalid, and only the technical scheme related to "Calcium Lactate" in claim 3 valid. This invalidation case took about eight months.
