Yan Zheng is now mainly practicing on patent prosecution, reexamination and invalidation, and actively works in household appliances, mechanical equipment, automobile structures, drones, mobile phone hardware, vehicle engineering, machinery manufacturing and automation, control theory, mechanical engineering, power electronics technology, electric and drive technology, etc.

Yan obtained technical expertise through her study for Master of Engineering in materials science and engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in materials engineering. She has also systematically studied patent and intellectual property laws and related laws and legal system.
