Aiwen Xu is now mainly practicing on patent prosecution, reexamination and invalidation, and actively works in organic chemistry (synthesis, preparation, analysis), pharmaceuticals, medicine and raw material medicine preparation, traditional Chinese medicine preparation, daily necessities, solar energy, chemical analysis, instrument analysis, material engineering, household product and so on.

Aiwen obtained technical expertise through her study for Master of Engineering in applied chemistry and Bachelor of Science in applied chemistry. She has also systematically studied patent and intellectual property laws and related laws and legal system.
