The Decision of the Supreme People’s Court on Amendments to the Interpretation of the Supreme People’s Court on Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Patent Dispute Cases was approved at the 1570th Meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court. It is hereby announced that the Decision shall come into force on April 15, 2013.

Decision of the Supreme People’s Court on Amendments to the Interpretation of the Supreme People’s Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Patent Dispute Cases
(Approved on February 25, 2013 at the 1570th Meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme
People’s Court)
According to the Decision of the 1570th Meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court, the Interpretation of the Supreme People’s Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Patent Dispute Cases shall be amended as follows:
Add a new paragraph to Article 2: “The Supreme People’s Court may, depending on actual circumstances, designate basic people’s courts to exercise jurisdiction over first-instance trials of patent dispute cases.”
