Professional Experience

Ms. Shuyuan Yang worked as a Chinese Patent Examiner for twelve years in the Fourth Examination (Chemistry) Department of Chinese Patent Office. Before joining AFD in 2006, she worked as a patent attorney for five years. Ms. Yang has extensive experience in patent prosecution, reexamination and invalidation and counseling services.

Ms. Yang also has fifteen years of industry experiences in research for the Beijing Yanshan Chemical Industry Corporation and six years of teach experience in a College, respectively, after graduating from the Department of Chemistry, Beijing Chemical Industry University, in 1964.

Ms. Yang's technical practice areas include pharmaceutical and Chinese medicinal sciences, organic and inorganic chemistry, biotechnology, materials science, agricultural chemicals and processes, chemical and petrochemical products and processes, and textiles.
