Li Tao is now mainly practicing on patent filing, prosecution, reexamination and invalidation, and actively works in computer technology, computer network engineering, communication engineering, WIFI technology, electronic technology, electromagnetic technology, microwave technology, optoelectronic technology, optical information technology, electronic equipment, medical equipment, detection equipment, household appliances, medical devices and so on.

Li obtained technical expertise through her study for Master degree in electromagnetic field and microwave technology and Bachelor degree in optical information science and technology. She has also systematically studied intellectual property laws and other laws and legal system.
